Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week in Philadelphia highlighted minority businesses and the resources that help them grow. Throughout the week, organizations from across the region will host in-person and virtual events focused on this year’s theme, “Unmute Your Opportunities.” The Business Center presented two programs during the week, “Business Planning for the Young Adult Entrepreneur” and “STAYING OUT THERE: Social Media for the New Normal,” and joined with the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council (EMSDC) to present “Growth Strategies for Natural Beauty and Cleaning.” Here are recordings of the sessions.
This workshop will provide tips on how to start moving a side hustle into a full time entrepreneurship position and identify tools to obtain from your current job before making the big leap.
