What is EITC?

The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) is available to eligible businesses that contribute to educational improvement organizations, in order to promote expanded educational opportunities for students in Pennsylvania.

Is My Company Eligible?

You are eligible if your company pays taxes to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on any of the following:

  • Corporate Net Income (LLCs)
  • Capital Stock Franchises
  • Bank & Trust Company Shares
  • Title Insurance Company Shares
  • Insurance Premiums
  • Mutual Thrift Institutions
  • S Corporations
  • General Partnerships
  • Limited Partnerships

In honor of Women’s History Month, TBC is holding a fireside chat with Monique Greenwood of Akwaaba Philadelphia Bed and Breakfast (first Black-owned in the city). She will discuss having what matters professionally, spiritually, and financially as a Black-woman-owned business. The first 25 businesses to register will receive an Echo from State Farm Insurance.
